ESG is embedded in the way Redion is managed and operated. Since 2022, sustainability has evolved from individual initiatives into a structured Group-wide framework aligned with the Group’s sustainability strategy.
The Group Management Committee oversees sustainability at the highest level. A dedicated ESG function coordinates the roadmap, supports implementation, and monitors progress across the Group.
A Global ESG Steering Committee brings together regional sustainability leaders. The committee aligns priorities, integrates material ESG topics into business decisions, and reviews performance through KPIs and regular monitoring.
In each region, sustainability leads work closely with business teams and corporate functions. They transform Group commitments into local action, coordinate sustainability programs, support governance, monitor progress, and help manage sustainability risks and opportunities.
Management remuneration also reflects ESG priorities. Variable compensation criteria, including employee engagement and skill development, help align leadership incentives with the Group’s sustainability objectives.
Our ESG approach is built around four complementary roles:
ESG strategy validation & accountability
ESG
implementation, coordination
and action plan monitoring
Integration of ESG into business practices, engagement of stakeholders
"ESG challenges rarely have simple answers. Dialogue with colleagues, partners and suppliers helps us consider different perspectives, strengthen our approach and turn ambition into meaningful action."
Florence Jean, Head of ESG – Redion Group

As part of Generali Group, Redion contributes to the Group Double Materiality Assessment. The Generali DMA, conducted in 2024 for the first time in line with the European Union’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), informed the Group’s Lifetime Partner 27: Driving Excellence strategy, highlighting three sustainability priorities:
As a provider of assistance, insurance, and employee benefits services, Redion contributes directly to these priorities through its business activities and stakeholder relationships.
Furthermore, due to its unique business, Redion considers also business conduct as a priority. Given that trust lies at the heart of our activities, strong governance and ethical business practices are essential to maintain stakeholder confidence, meet regulatory expectations, and support sustainable growth.
A DMA helps identify the sustainability topics that matter most to a business. It considers the impacts a company has on both people and the environment, and the risks and opportunities environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues may create for the organization. The DMA supports the integration of sustainability into business decision-making by aligning ESG priorities with strategy, risk management, and long-term value creation.
"Creating long-term value starts with understanding the major transformations shaping our society and our industry. Climate and demographic change, workforce transformation, and responsible business conduct influence how we serve our customers, support our partners, and empower our people to adapt, grow, and succeed."
Olivier Carn, Chief Strategy and Corporate Development Officer — Redion Group

|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Climate change mitigation | Insurance & Assistance | Travel & Mobility 89% of our carbon footprint originates from assistance-related purchased services, making towing, car rental, air transport services our most significant climate impact area.
