# Redion > Redion (formerly Europ Assistance and Generali Employee Benefits) is a global > care platform - the world's #2 in assistance and travel insurance and #1 in > employee benefits. Part of the Generali Group. 12,000+ employees, operations > in 190+ countries, EUR 5.8bn annual business volume (FY2025). Redion is the global brand launched on 26 May 2026, unifying Europ Assistance and Generali Employee Benefits (GEB) under one identity. In the United States, the former Generali Global Assistance (GGA), GMMI, and Trip Mate brands also operate as Redion. The company was founded in 1963 as Europ Assistance and pioneered the travel-assistance concept. Group CEO: Antoine Parisi.
